If you remember, I posted a story the other day on some of the issues the site has been suffering lately, due to its massive growth. Basically, the site has been getting so many visitors, that it kept killing the VPS server it was hosted on. There was really only two solutions to the problem, upgrade to an expensive dedicated server, or close the site down.
